Sages Fall to Cissna Park at St. Joe Shootout 61-48

The Monticello Sages gave the number one team in 1A all they could handle for three quarters at the St. Joesph-Ogden Shootout Saturday afternoon but eventually came up short 61-48 to Cissna Park.

 

Monticello's Ben Singleton finished with a game-high 22 points on 9-15 shooting. Ryan Reeder added eight points on offense and five steals on defense for the Sages.

 

Cissna Park was led by Christian Stadeli with 15 points. They shot over 67% from the field as a team.

 

With the loss, the Sages drop to 11-3 on the season. Cissna Park improves to 14-1.
