Indians Slow Sages 67-56

Monticello played from behind most of the game Friday night and battled to dwindle
the lead in the fourth quarter, but it was not enough as Pontiac topped the Sages 67-
56 in Illini Prairie conference action.

Garrett Kepley led the way for the Sages with 15 points Friday night. Ben Singleton
tallied another double-double, finishing with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Ryan Reeder
also added 14 points in the loss.

For the Indians, Joseph Murphy and Ryan Weir both finished with a game-high 19 points Friday night in the victory.

The loss drops the Sages to 15-5 (1-2) on the season, while the Indians improve to 10-9 (3-0).
