Bradley Draws Michigan State

The Missouri Valley Conference tournament champion Bradley Braves will take on second seeded Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament Thursday afternoon.

The Braves were the first team to receive an automatic bid after they went on an upset rampage in the MVC tournament in St. Louis last weekend, storming back to beat Northern Iowa in the title game Sunday afternoon.

Michigan State came back late to take down Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament title game yesterday afternoon in Chicago. Many thought the Spartans may have secured one of the top four seeds in the tournament with the win but Gonzaga was able to secure a top-seed despite losing in the Mountain West Conference tournament semis Friday.

Michigan State and Bradley will tip 15 minutes after the conclusion of the tournament's opener between Minnesota and Louisville in Des Moines, Iowa.

Duke was the overall no. 1 seed in the tournament after they won the ACC tournament. Virginia and North Carolina were the other two top-seeds, giving the ACC three top seeds in the NCAA tournament.
