Lincoln Football Looking For Continued Growth

Lincoln High School is hoping bringing back experience all over the field is going to translate into some success for a long-struggling program.

Head Coach Matt Silkowski says his team has guys with significant varsity football experience all over the field and as the season approaches, they've done some re-shuffling in places but he feels good about where his guys are at.

Bringing back their quarterback, Coach Silkowski says their run-first offense can be opened up if need be and he has plenty of guys he has confidence in to make plays.

Hear Coach Silkowski on the WHOW Morning show this morning at 9:30 am.

Lincoln is in their third year in the Apollo Conference. They'll open the season hosting non-conference opponent Limestone. The Railers will play at home four of the final six weeks of the season.
