Heyworth's Derek Logue Looking For Progress in Year Two

Now that he has a year under his belt in Heyworth, second-year coach Derek Logue is looking optimistically on his second year.

Coach Logue is now more comfortable with the kids and he feels they are more comfortable with him which is allowing them to expand on what they did last year.

Coach Logue says his team this year should be athletic. Even upfront, they have some speed and athleticism.

Heyworth was just 1-8 last year but Coach Logue says one thing that has stood out since he arrived in Heyworth is the commitment to getting better by their kids. They'll open the season on the road at El-Paso Gridley and then at Monmouth United before their home opener against the defending Class 2A state champions, GCMS.
