Developing a young group will be the goal for Aaron Fricke in his second year at Warrensburg-Latham High School as the head football coach.

Coach Fricke says he graduated a very big group that made a nice run in the Class 2A State playoffs last year. This year is about making sure their young kids continue what is becoming a winning tradition at Warrensburg-Latham.

As the season draw near, Coach Fricke doesn't want to sound like a cliche-ridden coach but he is looking for consistency from his kids in the practices leading up to their first game.

The Cardinals start their 2019 campaign hosting Robinson and then travel to Fithian-Oakwood before opening Central Illinois Conference action hosting Sullivan. Warrensburg-Latham plays three of their final four games at home.
