Thanks to a forfeit this week, the Clinton Maroons will be the first to two wins in Illinois.

While only a formality, the Maroons starting the year 2-0 is a big step to returning to the postseason. Head Coach Chris Ridgeway after last week's win says this week will be used to get some guys some rest and prepare for the conference opener with Shelbyville in week 3.

Coach Ridgeway says there are some things to clean up. He says what he saw from his team against a new opponent was what he hoped for in week 1

After this week's forfeit win, the Maroons will travel to Shelbyville next week. 

Decatur St. Teresa also will have a forfeit win this week.
