The Clinton Maroons are looking to start 4-0 for the second straight year when they welcome Meridian to Sprague Field.

The Maroons took care of Shelbyville on the road last week 48-14. Coach Chris Ridgeway says it was a good game but not a perfect game.

Coach Ridgeway says Meridian is a much-improved team and over the past few years they have grown a lot. He says they are turning into a good football program.

The Maroons enter action 3-0 while Meridian is 2-1. Decatur St. Teresa rolled the Hawks last week 52-6.
