Clinton Looking To Open 5-0 For First Time Since 1984

You have to go all the way back to 1984 for the last time the Clinton Maroons football team started a season 5-0 and tonight the 2019 squad is looking to turn back time when they hit the road against Tuscola.

The Warriors have dropped two straight and are looking to end that skid after a loss to Decatur St. Teresa. Clinton Coach Chris Ridgeway says Tuscola throws the ball very well and they are looking at some changes on defense.

Win the turnover battle and the Maroons can win the game. That is what Coach Ridgeway is preaching this week as he feels his team can really move the ball.

Tonight's game kicks at 7 pm and all the action can be heard on The Big 1520 AM/92.3 FM/106.5 FM WHOW and online at dewittdailynews.com.
