Monticello's cross country programs have experienced a great deal of success in recent years and the latest ILXCTF.com rankings has both squads ranked second in Class 1A.

The girls jumped a spot in the latest rankings to second over Tolono Unity. 

The boys program moved up from fifth to second behind Olympia who moved up from second to first.

Dave Remmert leads both programs in Monticello.
