The difference between a first round home playoff game and a road playoff game could be on the line tonight when the Monticello Sages travel to Prairie Central in Illini Prairie Conference football action.
Monticello rebounded from a loss at Unity with a big 59-7 win over Pontiac last week. Coach Cully Welter says it was nice to see his team continue to build on positive performances.
Coach Welter calls Prairie Central very solid and one of the better teams in the Illini Prairie Conference.
Prairie Central and Monticello both enter action 6-2 overall and third place in the Illini Prairie could be on the line tonight as well. IVC clinched the conference title in week 6.
Game time tonight is 7 pm and can be heard on 95.9 FM WEZC and online at dewittdailynews.com.
