As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons defeated the Sullivan Redskins by a score of 66-38 on Friday night. The Maroons were led by the Nate Ennis State Farm Player of the Game Garrett Wayne with 19 carries for 353 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. Wayne was 7 of 20 passing for 152 yards, 2 passing touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Tyrese Petty had 11 carries for 63 yards and 1 touchdown. Clayton Welch had 2 catches for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Sulivan Redskins were led by Luke VanderBurgh with 10 carries for 57 yards and 2 touchdowns. VanderBurgh was 18 of 38 passing for 291 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions.
With the win, the Maroons improve to 5-3 overall. The Redskins fall to 0-8 overall.
