Riding a four-game win streak, among them college football's biggest upset of the year - a home win over then fourth ranked Wisconsin - and the biggest comeback in program history last week on the road at Michigan State, Illinois will take the week to rest and regroup.

Illinois is bowl eligible for the first time since 2014 with games left at Iowa next Saturday and then Northwestern at home the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Illinois announced earlier this week they will play the rest of the regular season without junior wide receiver Ricky Smalling. Smalling is second on the team with 24 receptions and third with 225 receiving yards.

Illinois and Iow are set for an 11 am kick next Saturday.
