Central A&M received six of seven first-place votes in the Class 1A boys basketball poll this week and checks in at no. 1 overall. Effingham St. Anthony checks in at second overall. 

Champaign St. Thomas More received votes in this week's 1A poll.

Normal U-High checks in at No. 8 in the Class 2A poll and received one first-place vote. Chicago Orr received four first-place votes and is no. 1 overall. Pinckneyville, defending state champ Nashville is no. 3 and Chicago Corliss and Dunbar check-in tied at no. 4. Teutopolis is no. 6 in this week's poll.

In Class 3A, Chicago Morgan Park is No. 1 overall. Peoria Manual checks in at no. 5 overall while Peoria Notre Dame and Springfield Southeast received votes in this week's poll.

In Class 4A, Bloom Township is No. 1 followed by Chicago Whitney Young, Chicago Simeon, Chicago Stevenson and Collinsville. Normal Community received votes in this week's poll.
