As heard on WEZC and at dewittdailynews.com, Urbana came into Monticello Thursday night and blew by the Lady Sages 62-45 non-conference high school girls basketball action. 

The Lady Tigers were paced by their three seniors. Chian Scott scored a game-high 20 points, Kynzee Boastic scored 16 points and Raevyn Russell added 14 points.

The Lady Sages were led by sophomore Hannah Swanson’s 16 points.

Urbana finished 10-for-15 from the free-throw line while the Lady Sages shot just 6-for-15 from the charity stripe.

Monticello drops to 3-6 overall and Urbana moves to 3-4.
