The Clinton Maroons fell to Paxton-Buckley-Loda, 62-30, Friday morning at the annual Holiday Hoopla in Monticello.
PBL only led 28 to 26 at the half, however, Clinton mustered only four second-half points to fall to 0-2 in the tournament.
The Maroons were led by Clayton Welch with 10 points, Zeke Hickman and Tyrese Petty both added six points.
PBL was led by Trey Van Winkle's 21.
The Maroons fall to 4-10 on the season. They next play tonight (FRI) at 6p in Monticello versus Neoga. That game will be part of a doubleheader broadcast, as WHOW will air the boys at 6p, and then the Lady Maroons versus Neoga at 7:30p.
