Ryan Reeder scored 17 of his 20 points in the first half, Garrett Kepley scored all 10 of his points in the second half and Monticello boat raced Ridgeview 54-32 for third place from the Monticello Holiday Hoopla.

The Sages led 20-10 after the first quarter and opened up a 36-16 lead at the break. The Mustangs would get no closer than 15 in the second half as Monticello rebounded from a disappointing effort against Tuscola the day before that snapped a six-game win streak. 

The Sages shot 55-percent from the floor and went 5-for-8 from distance and scored 14 points off 10 Mustangs turnovers.

Levi Zimmerman was neutralized for 10 points. 

The Sages improve to 7-4 overall while Ridgeview drops to 10-3.
