After a slow first quarter, the Lady Maroons rebounded to propel them to a 41-27 win over Illini Central in non-conference high school girls basketball action Monday night in Mason City.

Mallory Cyrulik led the Lady Maroons with 17 points and Destiny Schlesinger scored 11 points. 

The Lady Maroons led just 4-2 after the first quarter but used a 15-4 second quarter to open up a 19-6 lead at the intermission and held on from there.
