The Clinton Lady Maroons stunned the Central A&M Lady Raiders on the first day of the girl's Central Illinois Conference basketball tournament 47-37.

The win propels the sixth-seeded Lady Maroons into the winner's bracket and a Tuesday night matchup against Decatur St. Teresa at 7:30 pm. The winner of that matchup takes on Sullivan or Tuscola

Thursday night for the tournament championship. The losers matchup for third, also Thursday night.
