Time is running thin on a decision about spring sports and according to the Illinois High School Association's top leader, modifications or even cancelations of seasons are on the table.

With an IHSA board meeting set for next Wednesday, IHSA Executive Director Craig Anderson said the meeting could determine spring seasons' fate.

Anderson added it all depends on when the organization can have conversations with the Illinois Department of Public Health.

During a meeting next Wednesday, the board will discuss modifications, possible cancelations, and potential spring sport start dates.
