Lincoln High School AD Ready to Get Schedules Set for Sports

After Wednesday's announcement of how high school sports will proceed, school district athletic directors now have the challenge of putting together not only game schedules, but practice schedules for all these sports that will be getting underway at once.

According to Lincoln High School Athletic Director Neil Alexander, they will be giving priority to gyms and facilities to sports that are in season. He says they'll have to do more adjusting as sports schedules get put together, likely starting this morning.

For Lincoln High School, the Apollo Conference will meet at 10 am this morning to begin hashing out details of schedules.

Alexander, who is also the basketball coach at Lincoln High School and arguably one of the most accomplished coaches in any Illinois sport, discussed the importance of high school sports for today's youth.

Alexander calls the last several months a nightmare trying to keep up with the latest developments and adjust practice schedules as things change.
