BOYS BBALL: Big Second Half Propels New Berlin Past Maroa-Forsyth

Trailing 24-17 at the half, New Berlin found their stride in the second half outscoring Maroa-Forsyth 13-5 in the third quarter and finishing out a 39-36 win at home in Sanamgo Conference boys basketball action Tuesday night.

 

Ethan Jackson paced the Trojans with 14 points, nine of those coming in the first half. Egan Franzen added seven points and Ben Gilbert and Mentor Ballazhi scored five points apiece.

 

The Trojans drop to 2-1 on the season. They travel to Auburn for a Sangamo Conference battle Friday.
