Fast Start Propels Lady Maroons Over Mt. Pulaski

The Clinton Lady Maroons started fast and did not look back in beating Mt. Pulaski 47-32 Thursday night in non-conference high school girls basketball action from Mt. Pulaski High School.

 

The Lady Maroons led 11-4 after the first quarter and led 27-14 at the intermission. They extended the lead to 36-18 at the end of the third, rolling from there.

 

Mallory Cyrulik scored a game-high 24 points. Kaitlyn Rauch scored nine points for Clinton. 

 

The Lady Maroons improve to 4-1 overall while Mt. Pulaski drops to 1-1. 

 

The Lady Maroons travel to Central A&M for a Saturday afternoon matchup at 11:30 am.
