Chloe Sisco scored 16 first-quarter points and 21 of her game-high 23 points in the first half propelling Prairie Central to a 69-49 win over Monticello Thursday night in Illini Prairie Conference girl’s basketball action from the Sievers Center at Monticello High School.

Sisco set the tone early as the Lady Hawks used suffocating defense and transition to get ahead early and stay ahead. Mariya Sisco added 11 points and Madison Kinkade and Natalie Graf each chipped in with 10 points. 

Monticello was led by Rennie Fultz’s 19 points. 

It was senior night at Monticello and the Lady Sage’s lone senior, Hailey Moore score 12 points, all in the second half, in her final game at Monticello High School.

Lizzie Stiverson finished with 10 points for Monticello.
