Tonight's Monticello boy's basketball game hosting St. Joseph-Ogden has been canceled.

The Monticello Athletics Twitter accounted tweeted shortly after 2:30 pm, due to COVID cases, and out of an abundance of caution, the game will be canceled.

Tonight's contest was to be senior night at the Sievers Center, the Tweet notes the athletic department will find a way to recognize the five Sages, senior basketball players.

Because Tuesday's game was to be the final game on the schedule, the Sages finish the year 8-3 overall and 5-3 in the Illini Prairie Conference.
