Monticello Checks In At No. 6 in First 3A Poll

The Monticello Sages are No. 6 in the first Class 3A high school football poll of the season.

 

Coming off a hard fought 20-7 win over Bloomington Central Catholic Friday, in the pandemic shortened season, the Sages looked rusty at times but the explosive offensive had its moments as well.

 

They will travel to Prairie Central this Friday night, ranked No. 5 in the Class 4A poll.

 

 Williamsville checks in at no. 1 in the 3A poll. The Illini Prairie's IVC received votes in the 4A poll but did not make the top 10. 

 

Maroa-Forsyth is no. 1 in the 2A poll followed by Decatur St. Teresa at No. 2. 

 

Central A&M from the Central Illinois Conference checks in at No. 4 in the 1A poll. Argenta-Oreana received votes in the 1A poll but did not make the top 10. 

 

GCMS and Tri-Valley received votes in the 2A poll. 

 

Rochester is No. 2 in the 4A poll with Mt. Zion at No. 10.

 

Springfield Sacred Heart-Griffin is No. 1 in the 5A poll and Decatur MacArthur checks-in at no. 9. 

Normal Community is No. 10 in the 7A poll.
