The Clinton Maroons will turn their attention this week to the Meridian Hawks in Central Illinois Conference football action tonight.

Through the halfway point of the abbreviated pandemic altered high school football season, the Maroons find themselves winless at 0-3. Coach Chris Ridgeway says while the results on the scoreboard on not what they'd hoped for, he's learning a lot about his team.

Meridian returns most of the team that beat the Maroons last season and Coach Ridgeway credits the Hawks for their athleticism and a disciplined group upfront.
