The Clinton Maroons will look to build on a win last week over Meridian when they travel to Sullivan tonight for a Central Illinois Conference high school football matchup.

Coach Chris Ridgeway credits the defense in its win 28-26 win. He believes there were several key moments and players that made big plays - including a stand on a two-point conversion late in the game that kept Meridian from tying the game.

Coach Ridgeway says Sullivan is fast and play a lot of man defense. He calls it a matchup of conflicting styles.
