The Illinois State baseball team won 10-2 at Milwaukee to snap a four-game skid and close the series on Sunday at Franklin Field.
Junior Tyson Hays was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, and walk to lead Illinois State (13-21 overall, 4-4 MVC).
Freshman Ryan Cermak recorded a triple, two RBIs, and two runs scored and sophomore Hayden Jones had two hits and three runs scored. Junior Jack Butler added a hit and three RBIs.
Milwaukee (15-16 overall, 12-8 Horizon) was out-hit by Illinois State in all four games of the series.
Illinois State is scheduled to return to Missouri Valley Conference action with a four-game series against Evansville at Duffy Bass Field this weekend.
