The Monticello Lady Sages scored six runs in the top of the sixth inning then scored three runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally past Warrensburg-Latham 15-11 in non-conference girls softball action from Warrebsurg on Monday.

MacKenzie Daniels led the way offensively for the Lady Sages driving in five runs. Lizzie Stiverson and Avery Oberheim drove in three runs apiece. Samantha Boman finished 3-for-4 with two runs batted in. 

Macy Hicks scattered 11 runs and 16 hits in seven innings pitched for the win. She struck out ten and walked zero batters. 

The Lady Cardinals hit four home runs.

The Lady Sages head to Fairbury for a game with Prairie Central Thursday afternoon. Hear Monticello girls softball action next Monday afternoon when the Lady Sages host Olympia at 4:30 pm.
