Avery Place pitched four scoreless inning and drove in seven runs leading the Blue Ridge Lady Knights past Broadlands-Heritage 18-0 in non-conference girl's softball action Wednesday afternoon from Farmer City.

Place finished 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles and allowed just three hits in circle, striking out nine and walking zero. 

Ashlyn Voyles added a grand slam in the bottom of the third inning. Farrah Michaels, Jasmine Bennet, and Lexi Young each recorded multiple hits for the Lady Knights.

The Lady Knights will host Okaw Valley tomorrow afternoon at 4:30 pm.
