Sydney Evans pitched seven innings of effective ball and the Blue Ridge Lady Knights rallied past Westville 6-3 in girl’s softball action in Farmer City.
Evans allowed three runs, none were earned, and struck out seven.
The Lady Knights scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning with RBIs from Lily Summers, Sydnee Evans, Ashlyn Voyles and Avery Place.
Blue Ridge improves to 5-2 overall. They host Iroquois West Tuesday.
