The Illinois State baseball team fell in the series finale at Dallas Baptist by a 3-0 scoreline Sunday at Horner Ballpark, continuing its six-game losing streak.

Illinois State (18-29 overall, 8-12 Missouri Valley Conference) was led by two hits from junior Kyle Soberano. Luke Eldred threw five scoreless innings for Dallas Baptist (29-11 overall, 14-2 MVC), which limited the 'Birds to three hits.

Illinois State is scheduled to face Missouri State in a four-game set from May 14-16. The Friday game is at 2:00 p.m. CT on ESPNU.
