Avery Place picked up her third win of the season and also drove in two runs as the Blue Ridge Lady Knights beat Iroquois West 15-5 in non-conference girl's softball action Tuesday from Blue Ridge High School.

Place finished 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Jasmine Bennett drove in 3 runs. Farrah Michaels tripled and scored three times. Lexi Young walked three times for Blue Ridge. 

The Lady Knights improve to 6-2 overall and will host Martinsville Thursday.
