As heard on WHOW, the Clinton Lady Maroons defeat the St. Teresa Lady Bulldogs by a score of 11-1 on Tuesday night. The Maroons were led by Ashley Armstong. She got the win, pitching 6 innings, only allowing one run on 4 hits while striking out 5 and walking one. Armstong was 1 for 4 batting with an RBI triple. The B-Roc Designs Player of The Game Savanna Clifton was 3 for 4 batting with 2 RBIs and 3 base hits. Maddie Scott was 2 for 2 batting with 2 base hits and 2 RBIs.
The Bulldogs were led by JD Huddleston who was 1 for 2 batting with an RBI triple.
With the win, the Maroons improve to 2-10 overall and 2-8 on the conference. The Bulldogs fall to 2-13 overall and 1-11 on the conference.
