Decatur St. Teresa Rallies Past Clinton in Boy's Baseball Action

The Clinton Maroons put up a six-spot in the second inning but Decatur St. Teresa rallied past Clinton 7-6 in Central Illinois Conference high school baseabll action Tuesday at Clinton High School.

 

The Maroons drew ten walks, six coming after its six-run second inning. Andrew Pagel and Brennan Wolfe finished 1-for-1 for Clinton. Jaxson White pitched into the fifth inning allowing seven runs, four were earned. White walked six, struck out three and allowed five hits. Zeke Hickman finished the final 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief. 

 

The Maroons committed four errors. 

 

Michael Martini drove in three for the Bulldogs and Matthew Brummer finished 2-for-4.

 

The Maroons drop to 3-8. They are schedule to travel to Sullivan Thursday.
