Big Start Helps Mt. Pulaski Roll Central A&M

The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers started fast and Drew Martin shut down Central A&M on the mound in a 10-0, five-inning win Wednesday in non-conference boy's baseball action from Mt. Pulaski.

 

Martin threw four shutout innings allowing just a hit and struck out eight. Luke Farris pitched a scoreless fifth inning to finish the win. He threw just 50 pitches, 38 for strikes. 

 

Martin went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, Jackson Fricke and Garrett Fitzpatrick each drove in a pair. 

 

The Hilltoppers stay undefeated at 16-0. They Springfield Lutheran Friday. Mt. Pulaski pounded Springfield 20-2 back in early May.
