Jessie Martin finished a triple short of the cycle leading Tuscola past Clinton 8-2 in Central Illinois Conference girl's softball action Wednesday at Clinton High School.

Martin finished 3-for-3 with three runs batted in and three runs scored. Kendyl Ring finished 3-for-4 and Ella Boyer was 2-for-4 for the Lady Warriors. 

The Lady Maroons were led by Ashley Armstrong who was 3-for-3 with an RBI and Heidi Humble drove in the other run for Clinton. 

The Lady Warriors remain unbeaten at 18-0 as they now await postseason play starting next week. 

The Lady Maroons are 2-11 overall and travel to Sullivan this afternoon.
