Clinton Heads to Lincoln for Week 1

Clinton High School football opens a new era tonight when the Maroons travel to Lincoln for non-conference week 1 high school football action.

 

Coach Ron Bass begins his tenure as the Maroons headman and is excited to get things kicked off. He says the culture of the program is coming around is pleased with the buy-in he's getting from the student-athletes.

 

 

Coach Bass says anticipate his team to do a little bit of everything. He says they will do some power-run as well as spread offense. Coming from Tri-Valley as the defensive coordinator for several years, he will be calling the defense. 

 

 

As it relates to Lincoln, Coach Bass calls the Railsplitters of Lincoln a big and athletic team that will do a lot of power runs.
