Maroons Fall to Cards on Homecoming

In a game heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals 30-22 on Homecoming Friday night. The Maroons were led by the DeWitt/Piatt ServPro Player of the Game Ethan Boyer, who was 9 of 16 passing for 147 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Boyer also had 11 carries for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns. Tristin Potts had 16 carries for 60 yards, and Aiden Schlesinger had 3 catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.

 

Warrensburg quarterback MJ Murphy had 27 carries for 150 yards and a touchdown. Shane Gillen had 10 carries for 118 yards and 2 touchdowns. Jacob Six went 4 for 12 passing for 48 yards and an interception.
