Clinton Falls to Iroquois West

In a game heard on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to Iroquois West by a score of 37-7 on Friday night. Senior quarterback Ethan Boyer was 9 of 31 passing for 109 yards and an interception. He also had 12 carries for 27 yards and a touchdown. Senior Tristin Potts had 12 carries for 15 yards. Aiden Schlesinger had 4 catches for 38 yards and Adam Kroeger had 3 catches for 40 yards. The DeWitt/Piatt Counties ServPro Player of the Game was Houston Stapleton who led the Maroons in interceptions.

 

Iroquois West junior quarterback Sam McMillan was 2 of 8 passing for 20 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Junior Trystyn Schacht had 19 carries for 22 yards and 3 touchdowns.

 

With the loss, the Maroons finish the season 1-8. Iroquois West improves to 7-2.
