Malorie Cyrulik and Kylie Raymer helped the Clinton Lady Maroons overcome a slow start and roll past Decatur St. Teresa 51-29 in Central Illinois Conference high school girl's basketball action on Monday night at Decatur St. Teresa High School.
Cyrulik scored a game-high 20 points and Raymer added 15 points for the Lady Maroons.
The Lady Maroons trailed 12-9 after the first quarter but used a big second quarter to lead 25-17 at the half and then blew the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Lady Bulldogs 14-2 to open a 39-19 advantage.
Jaida Taylor and Joella Livingston scored ten points apiece to lead Decatur St. T.
The Lady Bulldogs drop to 4-3 on the season and are 1-2 in the CIC.
Clinton improves to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in the CIC.
The Lady Maroons will host Cerro Gordo-Bement tonight.
