As heard on WHOW, The Clinton Maroons defeated the Route 54 rival Blue Ridge Knights 69-18 at Clinton High School Wednesday afternoon. The Maroons jumped early to lead 23-0 in the first quarter and never looked back. At the half, the Maroons led 40-7. 

ServPro of Piatt and DeWitt Counties Player of the Game Trevor Scott led Clinton with 16 points. Sophomore Mason Walker added 16 points and freshman Khanton Wilson had 9.

Blue Ridge was led by Zach Lewis with 5 points.

With the win, the Maroons improve to 4-8 for the year. Blue Ridge drops to 2-8 on the season.
