The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans needed overtime but were able to hold off Decatur LSA 66-64 Tuesday night from the Decatur St. Teresa Holiday tournament.
Zach Giles scored five of the Trojans nine overtime points, including a crucial three-point play. He finished with 12 points.
Egan Franzen scored 15 of his 32 points in the third quarter.
Sophomore Stevie Tatum paced three Lions in double-figures with 16 points. Gannon Harshman added 15 points and AJ Massey added 11 points.
The Lions drop to 9-4 overall while Maroa-Forsyth improves to 7-4.
LSA will take on Hartburg-Emden for seventh place while the Trojans will play Mt. Pulaski for third place.
