The Clinton Lady Maroons had a pair of basketball players reach career milestones last week during the Monticello Holiday Hoopla tournament.

Coach Josh Williams says Kaitlyn Rauch reached the 1,000 point milestone on the Monday of the tournament. He calls her the Javy Baez of their team and it gives this Clinton girl's basketball team a pair of 1,000 point scorers.

Also during the Hoopla, fellow 1,000 point scorer, Malorie Cyrulik broke the girl's basketball rebounding record. Coach Williams says it's a 21-year record that is now all hers.

Both Rauch and Cyrulik were named to the Holiday Hoopla all-tournament team in helping lead the Lady Maroons to a third-place finish in the girl's bracket. 

Clinton is 16-4.
