The Lincoln High School girl's basketball team jumped two spots in the latest girl's basketball state rankings.
The Lady Railsplitters are up to No. 4 this week in Class 3A. Geneseo is No. 1 followed by Morton, Sycamore and Peoria Central rounds out the top 5.
Peoria Notre Dame, Nazareth, Mattoon, Chicago Heights Marian Catholic and Bethalto Civic Memorial round out the top 10 in 3A.
Winnebegao is the top team in 2A followed by Quincy Notre Dame, Illini West, Paris and Teutopolis. Carterville, Chicago Noble Street-Butler, Pana, Fieldcrest, and Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond round out the 2A top 10.
In Class 1A, Elmwood-Brimfield, Okawville, Tri-County, River Ridge and Mendon Unity are this week's top 5. Cowden-Herrick, Brown County, Serena, Havana and Neoga round out the top 10.
In 4A, Chicago Benet Academy is the No. 1 team followed by Stevenson, Hersey, Loyola, and Fremd are the top 5 teams. Chicago Kenwood, Edwardsville, Normal Community, Lyons, and Naperville North round out the top 10.
