Short-Handed Blue Ridge Knights Topples Heritage

Blue Ridge continued to deal with a shortage of players Friday night but overcame the absences to beat Heritage 57-49.

The Knights, without five players, were led by Zach Lewis' 20 points and Ty Meeker added ten points.

The Knights used a fast start to open up a 35-22 lead at the half but Heritage closed the gap to 43-35 and a 14-all fourth quarter allowed Blue Ridge to keep Heritage at bay the rest of the way.

All eight active players for the Knights got in the scoring column.

Blue Ridge moves to 3-14 overall and 1-3 in the Lincoln Prairie.

Blue Ridge takes on Argenta-Oreana Tuesday night in Lincoln Prairie action.
