Blackhawks Send Four to AHL

The Chicago Blackhawks sent Josiah Slavin, Cale Morris, Jakub Galvas, and Mike Hardman to the AHL Tuesday. 

 

Slavin was reassigned to AHL Rockford from the active roster Tuesday, Carter Baum of the Blackhawks' official site reports.

 

Slavin did not make an 11th NHL appearance during his most recent stint on the active roster. The 23-year-old will return to AHL Rockford, where he has posted eight points over 17 appearances this season.

 

Morris was demoted from the taxi squad to AHL Rockford on Tuesday, Carter Baum of the Blackhawks' official site reports.

 

Morris will return to AHL Rockford, where he has appeared in two contests this season. Despite traveling with the team to Seattle on Monday, the 25-year-old did not make his NHL debut.

 

Hardman was demoted to AHL Rockford from the active roster Tuesday, per Carter Baum of the Blackhawks' official site.

 

Hardman recorded 5:14 of ice time, five PIM and was held without a point against Seattle on Monday. He was elevated from the taxi squad prior to the game. The 22-year-old will return to AHL Rockford, where he has recorded six points over seven appearances this season.

 

Jakub Galvas was reassigned to AHL Rockford from the active roster Tuesday, Carter Baum of the Blackhawks' official site reports.

 

Galvas has averaged 20:08 of ice time -- 2:55 during the power play -- and been held without a point over three NHL appearances this season.
