The Clinton was led by a trio of scorers and toppled Warrensburg-Latham 51-35 Thursday night from Clinton High School in girl's basketball action, completing a perfect run through the Central Illinois Conference slate for the Lady Maroons. 

The Lady Maroons were defeated by Tuscola in the conference tournament title game a few weeks ago but tournament games do not count towards the regular-season conference record.

Kaitlyn Rauch led all scorers with 28 points and Mallory Cyrulik scored 17 points and Heidi Humble chipped in with six points. The trio of seniors were the only players to score for Clinton.

The Lady Cardinals kept things close through the first quarter of play but the Lady Maroons blew things open in the second quarter leading 32-18 at the half and never looked back.

The Lady Maroons finish the regular season 26-5 overall and run the table in the CIC, finishing 8-0. 

It's off to the postseason next for Clinton. They'll await the winner of Saturday evening's matchup between Warrensburg-Latham and Tri-Valley.
