Clinton Maroons Fall To Warrensburg-Latham

In a game heard Friday night on WHOW, the Clinton Maroons fell to the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals in CIC action, 63-30. 
 

The Cardinals outpaced Clinton 17-0 in the first quarter, and led 31-17 at the half.  Warrensburg pulled away in the third, out scoring the Maroons 26-8 in the quarter.  
 

The Maroons were led by Dawson Graves with 12 points.  The WHOW/Serv Pro of Piatt & Dewitt County "Player of the Game" went to Brooks Cluver, who had 11 points. 
 

Warrensburg was led by MJ Murphy and Ethan Yaroch, who both had 14. 
 

The Cardinals improve to 20-7 on the seasons, and 4-2 in the CIC.  The Maroons fall to 11-19 overall, and 3-3 in conference. 
 

Clinton travels to Meridian to wrap up the regular season next Friday night.  The Maroons then travel to Riverton the next day (Saturday, February 19th) for the first round of the 2A Regionals.  Tip time for the Regional game has not been announced.
